What We’re Looking For
- Local news your community isn’t seeing covered
- Public records findings and FOIA/open records results
- Eyewitness accounts with documentation
- Long-form investigations into public institutions
- Corrections or follow-ups to existing coverage
How to Submit
Fill out the form below or email your pitch with the subject line “Submission: [Story Title].”
Include:
- A brief description of the story (2–4 sentences)
- The evidence or sources you’re working from
- Your name and contact information (kept confidential if requested)
What Happens Next
A volunteer editor will review your submission within 72 hours. We’ll reach out to discuss next steps, request additional documentation, or let you know if the story isn’t a fit.
All submitters are protected under our source protection policy. We do not disclose confidential sources under any circumstances.
